Charlotte Fox
“I really loved the idea of this week’s photoshoot! I mean, what better way to get closer to my special sweetheart *swoons*. In the first shot (screenshot 119) I’m looking pretty nervous in my formal get-up. I almost pulled my white glove off to start biting my nails *gasps*! I was so nervous that my boyfriend,Derek, wouldn’t be able to find his way from our small hometown of Riverview to my new home in Sim Valley. But thankfully, Derek showed up to the photo shoot, looking tall, dark, and handsome as always. I had a lot of fun shooting in my favourite location: my new, modern bedroom with a massive, floor-to-ceiling ocean view. Soo romantic. Thanks again to the judges for picking such a delightfully delicious challenge! Derek and I had a lot of fun posing for the pictures and gazing into each other’s eyes.”

Charlotte Rose
Charlotte was more than excited about her first shoot. She knew almost instantly where she wanted the be photographed. Azalea Acres Community Garden. She said this was by far her favorite place in Riverview. She spends many hours of her time volunteering to help with the up keep of the beautiful garden there. When I agreed this would be a lovely place for the shoot, she then requested that we shoot at night. “That is when it is the most beautiful” Being the flirty thing that she is, she also wanted to bring her boyfriend along. In the end I think the shot really does give you a glimpse of who Charlotte is. Charlotte was extremely happy with it.

Genevieve Wesson
At first I was thinking about having the photoshoot at the beach since I absolutely love it there and I am pretty much there all the time anyways because that is where I like to go to write. But then I decided that the beach wasn’t exactly the most original idea in the world since there have been so many pictures taken there before. For awhile I couldn’t think of anything that would do, but then I went for a drive in my car. It hit me as I pulled into my neighborhood park that all of this was perfect. My car, the park, and what I was wearing at the exact moment. So I called up Aubrey and told him I had figured out what I wanted to do for the first photo shoot. He then immediately came down to the park and we took the photos.

Holly Anderson
Holly’s all time favorite spot in Sunset Valley is Old Pier Beach. She loves being on the beach relaxing and have a good time. Often her and her girlfriends will go there to grill up some hot dogs and flirt with the cute boys. There is no better way to flirt than with that itsy bitsy tiny bikini on!

Isla Quinn
Isla was thrilled to hear that she could show everyone her favourite spots. She raced over to her favourite park, but was pretty miffed she couldn’t get any good photos. She managed to get into a bit of a fight with the make-up artist about whether her make-up was tested on animals or not, so, in an attempt to calm her down, Isla was taken over to the hill nearby to soak up the gorgeous sunshine and views. She actually admitted that it was better than the park, and she loved looking at the butterflies… and trying to catch them. The photographer had come along too, and was lucky enough to get some great, natural shots of Isla doing her thing. Hopefully next time she’ll get another make-up artist though.

Jolene Rashad
Although Jolene had a grumpy start to the day after a burglar interrupted her sleep last night, her jogging on-set cheered her up and pumped adrenaline through her body. Jolene needed no acting as she reminisced on days after school when she would jog by Central Park in preparation for track meets. She still finds Central Park a great, friendly place for a morning jog.

Juliet Anderson
Juliet was so excited to have the beautiful Sunset Valley as her backdrop today, but she had trouble finding her favorite spot. There’s just so much to love about all of it! I wanted the breathtaking ocean as her background, but Juliet being the leader she is convinced me that it would not be unique enough for her. Next, we went to the art museum and mingled, letting Juliet’s friendly side show. Unfortunately, the sims who she talked to wanted all the limelight to themselves, and would not let Juliet been seen by the camera. Finally, we took a trip to City Hall, obviously Juliet’s favorite spot, and future job. I should have listened to her in the begining! The grand steps of City Hall make a tiny model look even smaller, but you can tell by Juliet’s ambition and determined walk, that her dreams are bigger than any City-Hall!

Kaz Peterman
Kaz chose the old Gazebo for her shot today. This is her favorite place to hang out around Riverview because it’s close to the water, there’s a chess board and a radio, and she always meets new people. She was rather anxious at first but settled right in after a bit and people started to wander around during the shoot. I think the shots really brought out her charismatic side as well as her bubbly and fun personality.

Natalia Brookfield
Natalia loves sunsets. Her house is on the beach and her life revolves there too. She loves walking on the beach during sunset because it makes her feel free. Shes modeling a dress she found in her closet (i forget where i downloaded it from) and wanted to show off how elegant she is instead of jumping in a bikini! She had a little attitude during the shoot. She was preocupied with the party she was throwing that night at the restaurant so she wanted to get everything over with. She pulled it off and worked that sunset and dress. So it was a successful day at the beach.

Prue Wilson
When Prue was asked by Aubrey to take photo’s indoors, Prue was hesitant because she felt that the photos indoors would not be good enough or capture Prue’s all round quaites.I have Photographed Prue at her best, Prue loves the outdoors and this is were she feels the happiest.

Sara Harrison
Sara stepped out into the glorious sun, her blond hair throwing rays of light. Jamie quickly followed, almost like an assistant. The pair walked around the pathway for a while, happily talking about recent events at school. Then, they saw him. Toby Inkton. He had replaced Sara’s old spot of “School Nerd”. He was practicing guitar, shockingly. The girls shared a laugh-out-loud moment and exchanged comments about him, ignoring the fact he was standing less than 10 meters away. Suddenly, Jamie’s cell rang. Her mom called asking her home immediately. She turned to Sara, quickly “air-kissed” and hurried off to the nearest cab, leaving Sara alone with Toby. She looked at him, almost feeling symphathetic. Toby’s eyes started to water. Sara tingled with guilt, opening her mouth to speak only to say nothing. Could it be Sara’s own experiences have caused this fatal flaw? Or could it be a lie, just to make him feel better? Hang on, this is Sara. She NEVER makes ANYONE feel better. What is she up to?

Tozzi Crawford
Tozzi may be a afraid of commitment, but she’s a huge flirt. Her favorite Sunset Valley spot is the beach. It gives her an excuse to show off some skin and take in the “sights.” She may love to flirt and hit on guys, but when I told her to do it on command, it wasn’t so easy. She would giggle and get real shy. There was a guy down there fishing that afternoon and I happened to catch her chatting him up when she thought I wasn’t looking. Her thorough embarrassment lead to the end of that and a long walk on the beach to observe the sunset.

Results Round 1:
No Elimination/No Immunity
Photoshoot 2
“Au NATURE-al”
This challenge requires your model to become ONE with nature. In this shoot, your model should BELONG with the setting. She shouldn’t look like she’s going on a jog, or just passing through. In short, your model is no longer simply a civilian, think of her as a forest goddess.
Hair Requirements: Hair should be down and medium/long. There should be SOME green in the hair. How much or little is up to you. Other than greens, only use neutrals (grey, black, browns..) This means no bright reds, whites, pink, blues etc… try adding these colors in the scenery.
Makeup requirements: Makeup should remain neutral and soft. (For an added flair, try the all over ‘swirly’ face paint) Keep with the specified hair colors.
Outfit Requirements: choices should be very natural, browns and dark greens. The clothing should blend in with your model and not be too noticeable.
Scenery Requirements: You should create a custom scene for your model. Any and all plants are allowed. Ponds rocks, fountains, are allowed as well. PLEASE no lawn ornaments this means no statues, cows, flamingos of the sort. This should be an organic a setting as possible.
Hint: Try the “moveobjects on” cheat (without the “”) this helps to create more compact and believable scenery.
To allow every one enough time to create ant not feel rushed we are allotting an extra day. But, if everyone gets their submissions in early, we will proceed. A countdown will be added to the original (which is now the third) post on the thread.
Charlotte Fox
“I really thought this photo shoot sounded like a sweet idea…until it came to the hair-dying…I was so worried my pale green highlights wouldn’t turn out right! Luckily, they worked out well, and the rest of the shoot just came together…I chose a long, strapless, v-cut gown because it really spoke to me as “nature goddess”. I really like the peach-coloured rosebushes as a setting, because the roses were the colour of my skin and the bushes the colour of my gown…it was fun to really feel like I’m blending in with nature…and yet at the same time look gorgeous! I worked really hard for this shoot and put a lot of time into thinking about the details…I hope the judges like the end result as much as I do…”

Charlotte Rose
When I told Charlotte we would be out playing with nature for this shoot, she was stoked. She started singing a little song about pretty pretty flowers. It was extremely adorable. I knew if I asked her, she would have the perfect location for us to shoot at too. It took us almost 3 hours to get to by car, but when we arrived, I knew this place was going to fit the bill exactly. There were so many beautiful flowers, I can see why she was so excited to go here. I wasn’t to sure how she was going to take the green hair, but she took it all in stride. Charlotte has probably been the most easy going model I have ever worked with. I think her gentle nature really shines through in her lovely photos.

Genevieve Wesson
I kept my eyes closed, trying to sense my surroundings before I took in the beauty with more than just smell, hearing and taste, but also my sight. I could hear a river very faintly rush behind me as it skipped over rocks that had found themselves embedded in it since the dawn of time. I felt a butterfly scan across my face with its moth like wings. It suddenly landed on the tip of my nose which created an involuntary smile, as brief as it may have been. I drew in a deep breathe through my nose which brought in many intoxicating smells. A countless amount were familiar but some lingered with an alien scent; almost like a deadly acid. As I opened my eyes to the world around me the colors were vibrant and radiating an inextinguishable glow of beauty. As I stood from the flower bed, that of which I laid upon, I immediately ran for the river that laid behind me. Its almost never ending supply of water enchanting me with its glow. As I stripped down to almost nothing I engulfed myself in the brook as if washing away all of my sins.
This was me…
Reborn.

Holly Anderson
The mystery of nature, the beauty, the way it smells. The earth beneath my feet, the wind blowing, the hot sun on my face,It is me and I am it.

Isla Quinn
Isla got up at the crack of dawn to get ready for this shoot. It couldn’t have been more perfect for her, and she was SO excited! She had great fun exploring the set, as it was beautiful and really up her street. She was a bit nervous about lying on the lily pads but, being brave, went for it and had a good time. Luckily, this shoot, she managed to not argue with the make-up lady, and was very daring by wearing a short dress! Isla loved the shoot so much that even after she was finished, she hung around with the crew on set. I think she wants to buy it and live in it, actually!

Jolene Rashad
When told about her challenge, Jolene was excited about the opportunity to get creative. She wasn’t happy with the first bathing suit put on her, feeling it was too bright and didn’t fit the feel of the photo. She didn’t say anything but luckily, her stylist thought the same and decided to go with a more natural-looking print. Jolene spent a very long time on-set finding it difficult to capture the right mood. She shot all day with breaks in order to try different natural lighting settings. She isn’t as happy as she’d like to be with the final outcome but hopes she has done it justice.

Juliet Anderson
Juliet had a few ideas in mind about how she wanted to go about the “Nature” Shoot. She thought of the main things of nature, plants, flowers, water, and stone. We did a shoot for each one of these themes and made Juliet a Goddess for each one. The last theme we decided to portray was the flowers, surrounding Juliet in a field of daisies, roses and daffodils. It seemed she was the most comfortable, approachable, and expressive with so many colors around her. We were fortunate to have a few butterflies donated by the Science facility she befriended, and Juliet’s charm even worked on the delicate butterflies. In the end we also went for a “Alice in Wonderland” allusion with ambitious Juliet napping in the daisies. She isn’t dreaming of evil queens or running rabbits though, she’s dreaming of being the Next Top Model!

Kaz Peterman
Kaz was certainly in her element today, she enjoys nature quite a bit and was quick to agreeing to dye her hair. We went with a leaf motif bikini, slapped some fun vine body paint on her side and set out to get some shots amongst the greenery. It was very difficult to decide on which shots to send in as we had done so many different lovely things, but i feel these two were the best of them all.

Natalia Brookfield
One with the Earth. She feels the pulsing of the ground, the sounds of the wild. She loves it. She lives it. Her world is Beautiful.

Prue Wilson
When Prue was given the second assignment she could not belive her eye’s the judges at picked the most favourite photo shoot Prue could have imagined.
Prue loves the outdoors and loves being around nature and loves to be around her little flowers that she calls her little stars.
Prue wanted to go for the basic look, the feel of nature around her from her top of her head to the soles of her feet she became one with her little stars and the surrounded enviroment.

Sara Harrison
When Sara heard of the requierments for her second shoot, she was stunned. How was she gonna pull this off? All shes used to is high end fashion shoots, for Vogue of course! After a long period of decision making, Sara had decided on how to attack this shoot, Queen of the Jungle. Once Sara had her theme, she was away. Her glorious contact filled eyes focussed hard on the camera, trying to acheive an intimidating look, which OF COURSE she pulled off. After a long fierce day, she glanced over her phots, stunning, but would else you expect from Sara?

Tozzi Crawford
Upon hearing of the next assignment, Tozzi and I went down to the forest to begin right away. After a day’s worth of shooting, all of her shots seemed forced and unimpressive. Down on her luck, Tozzi thought for a few minutes. “The bamboo forest!!”she screamed and began running to the car. When we got there I understood her excitement immediately – it was definitely not what I had first envisioned when we got the new assignment but it was beautiful! She explained to me how comfortable she felt there because of her love for her asian heritage. During the set, the cherry blossoms made Tozzi’s allergies act up but between sneezes we were able to get a few great shots. Even the butterflies made a final appearance before the sun set.

Results Round 2:

Photo Entries:
Charlotte Fox
Whenever Charlotte has downtime from her busy life, she lights a fireplace, puts on her glasses, changes into her little maid outfit, and cleans! Charlotte really enjoys cleaning…it makes her feel satisfied and refreshed. When Charli heard news about her third photo shoot, she was a little nervous at first. She thought it would be super awkward- a photographer following her around as she cleaned and took out the trash?- but eventually got used to the idea. The people on set were a bit skeptical that cleaning was really Charlotte’s favourite hobby, but what can you do, she’s a neat freak!

Charlotte Rose
Charlotte was a little apprehensious about this shoot. Her first concern was she was going to be perceived as boring. Seeing that all of her interests have to do with plants. Her second concern was acutally sharing her favorite hobby. Not many people know about it because of all the ridicule she had received in school for it. The truth is Charlotte loves to talk to her plants. There is a certain flower bush in her back yard that is her absolute favorite. The reason it is her favorite is because it was the first thing she ever planted. She would take time out everyday and go sit with her little flower bush. Today the bush is so amazingly beautiful and Charlotte is very proud.

Genevieve Wesson
A poem and a prose from Genevieve Wesson.
Beautifully Disfigured
Beautifully,
Beautifully disfigured
with painted lips
none exsisting smiles
and twisted souls,
this is my battle cry,
a battle cry for the lost.
“It’s to late to save them…”
When I was little there use to be a house in the middle of nowhere on the way to my grandparents. I use to fantasize that we drove up to that abandoned like house because we needed help, but The people who lived there weren’t very nice; so they stole all of our souls. And I would always end the fantasy with me as the last one that they gutted and I would watch my blood drip slowly onto the tile of their crumbling hell.
I told you once and you spanked me, saying, “Little girls are not supposed to imagine such things.”
When I was little we use to have a dog named Oscar. I liked to torture him. Dressing him up in pretty little dresses, and trying to make him sing by burning off his fur. One day we couldn’t find him. We looked and searched for him, but he was lost to us… Until I went to my room. I had forgotten I left him trapped in a box, wondering how long it would take him to fall asleep and not wake up.
When I told you, you got angry and spanked me once again, saying, “Little girls are not supposed to lie.”
When I was little,
after you spanked me and gave me a good scolding I would always ask, “What about big girls?”
And you would always reply, “It’s too late to save them.”
— By Genevieve Wesson

Holly Anderson
When Holly first bought her house, she made sure it had a extra room that she could turn into her music room. Ever since Holly was a teenager, music has been her stress relife. Weather its just relaxing and listening to some music, or strumming her guitar. Holly isnt interested in becoming a big music star or anything like that, she just enjoys playing in the comfort of her own home, where she can sing as loud as she wants, or let a good a cry if need be. Dont get her wrong, she doesnt only play when shes down, almost every sunday Holly will go in her music room for hours and just strum away, she likes to write her own music about things that occur in her life.

Isla Quinn
“It’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it” Isla smiled as she walked over to the set. She was a little worried that this skill would be too dirty and not very glamorous, but decided that just doing what she loved was the most important. She spent the majority of the day tinkering as we took photos, so this was a little tiring compared to the others. It was still great fun- she hopes she can carry on!

Jolene Rashad
When it came to recreation, Jolene’s first choice was jogging. Knowing she had already showcased her running, she turned to one of her other life passions: hairdressing. Jolene was so engrossed in her work during the shoot that had almost forgotten that the cameras were even there. She realizes that her choice was risky but hopes it was well worth it

Juliet Anderson
Juliet had a lot of fun on this challenge, creating expressions she’s never before tried and visiting sets she never dreamed of seeing. We realized it was time to step it up a notch, and I can vouch for Juliet, saying she really tried her hardest! For inspiration Juliet went jogging around the town, in her spunky Lord Sponge shirt (it’s her favorite show!), scoping for some new scenery. Then it hit us; exercising was Juliet’s favorite hobby! (Besides socializing of course….). We took a trip to Stoney Falls at sunrise, and then ventured all around town until finding an abandoned mine….She stopped there for the cooldown when I noticed something strange. I couldn’t help telling Juliet that there was a pair of bright, blinking eyes watching her do some squats. Although this information did freak her out, it created the best natural emotion!

Kaz Peterman
Kaz wasn’t a huge fan of this shoot, her favorite hobby is gardening other than fiddling with her guitar and felt that while gardening pictures would be rather boring, jammin out was probably going to be done to death by the other girls. Kaz does love to garden though and is very proud of her produce which she tried to show with these photos.

Natalia Brookfield
Her favorite past time is fishing. Ever since her first catch when she was 5, Natalia gets a high from catching something in the water. You never now what youre gonna find in Sunset Valley!

Sara Harrison
Sara walked into her dance studio, which she attends weekly to keep her stunning figure. She quickly changed and started warming up, getting ready to blow away her teacher with the new moves she learnt.

Tozzi Crawford
When I told Tozzi the new assignment, I thought she was going to jump out of her skin with excitement. She asked that we wait till Thursday night and like typical Tozzi fashion, she left me hanging in the dark till the shoot. I met her at her place at 11:30 that night. She was so pumped- I wondered what kind of coffee she had been drinking all night. “No coffee!!” she shouted as she went running upstairs ahead of me. When we got up to her loft she explained it to me: Tozzi’s favorite band had been in town this week and she had just gotten home from their concert – from which she was still “totally stoked” about. Her love for rock music has taken her across the country to see band after band. Here, you’ll see her collection of guitars that has grown exponentially over the past 5 years of her travels. She’s only recently begun learning to play them as she felt silly being a collector of fine guitars and not knowing anything about music. She’s quite shy about playing anything in front of me, so I shut off the lights and let her music take her away. The night culminates with another Tozzi scream: “Rock on!!!”

“Inner Child”
(Note: Your assigned boy will be sent out individually VIA email.)
The place you have all been invited to is “Angels Hideaway”, the local boy’s home and adoption agency here in Sunset Valley!
Your challenge, is to take the boy assigned to you and get in touch with your inner child by hangning out with him all day.
Charlotte Fox
When Charlotte met Billy at the “Angels Hideaway” orphanage, she thought he was such a sweetie. Charli and Billy chatted about everything from cookies to computers. First, they spent their Saturday morning eating waffles at the local diner. Then, they walked over to the local school’s playground and made sandcastles in the sandbox. After a lunch of Billy’s favourite: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (which Charlotte hadn’t had in ages but thoroughly enjoyed), they made silly faces at each other and headed home. That night, before Billy had to go back to the orphanage, he and Charlotte played with blocks and a dollhouse and Charlotte presented him with a gift: a soft, velvet teddy bear! Billy was ecstatic, and Charlotte really had embraced her inner child that day. They had so much fun, that Charlotte promised Billy that they would spend every Saturday together and hugged each other goodbye.

Charlotte Rose
Charlotte is always up for new things and was totally on board with this idea. What better place to find your inner child than Disney Land! They got to the park fairly early and enjoyed themselves immensely. Charlotte got her face painted and bought them both some rockin gear to wear. They were having a blast till Charlotte wanted have her photo taken with the Princesses. Dominic was not very cool with that idea at all, but by evening time they had so much fun, he had forgotten all about his abnormal fear of fair maidens. The last ride of the evening was the haunted mansion. They both loved it!

Holly Anderson
Holly was extremely excited about this photo shoot! She loves children and what a better way to spend some time with one who is less fortunate. She picked up Hugo around Noon, just in time for a picnic lunch at the park. As they sat there eating Hugo was telling Holly his story’s about how at the adoption agency they love to play house. It gives them that sense of family that they never really had. Holly’s heart sunk when she heard this story, but she knew she had a fun filled day planned for Hugo! After lunch they goofed around the playground. They even played a little friendly game of cops and robbers! After their adventure in the park Holly took Hugo to the local kids arcade where they played each other in Mario Cart! Holly was having a blast, she hasn’t done some of these things in years! Unfourntley after all the fun it was time for Hugo to go home. As she walked up to the door, he turned around and gave Holly’s leg a huge hug, and said, “Thanks for the great day!” Holly knew right then and there she touched this little boys life just a little

Isla Quinn
Isla was really nervous about this shoot, bless her. She wasn’t nervous about her hair, or clothes, or getting a good result; she was worried about giving little Eric the best day out he’d ever had. She spent a good part of the evening scoffing tofu dogs and planning. Finally she came up with some awesome ideas, and she’d let him pick. When Isla came to pick him up, she was so excited. They got on like a house on fire, and had loads in common. As Eric was a keen angler, they decided to go on a fishing trip and have a picnic. All was going really well, they caught several fish, and had a great time. Eric had to keep showing Isla what she was doing wrong, though eventually she managed to fish to his standards. Then it happened- they both caught a fish at the same time, got really excited, and fell into the water! They managed to go to Isla’s house which was on the bank of the river, but they knew Eric’s clothes wouldn’t dry in time. Isla was fine, she just changed, but what about poor Eric? Well, Isla had to lend him her least girly jumper (It was still pretty girly, but Eric was a good sport and didn’t complain) and a pair of shorts. The clothes were huge on him! He’s a good kid though, and laughed about it. They finished the day with the picnic as promised, and had a good chat. Eric had such a lovely time, and he and Isla got on so well. This challenge wasn’t only the best challenge for her, but one of the best days she’s ever had.

Jolene Rashad
Being childish herself, Jolene knew where to take Terrance: the toy store. Jolene remembered being a little girl and stopping by the toy store on weekends to test out the newest toys and wanted to show Terrance the ropes. After a few hours of checking out the new trainset and model boats, they decided to toss the football around. Needless to say, it didn’t end well. But Jolene knew she’d given Thomas a day he wouldn’t forget.

Kaz Peterman
Kaz really enjoyed the shoot today, as you may have noticed by her pictures. At first she was a tad off put, as she is not a fan of children (not to mention the ones she doesn’t even know…)but after we started dressing her up and popped a wig on her she was in high spirits! After the shoot Sawyer and Kaz exchanged phone numbers, They have another play date scheduled for next week.

Natalia Brookfield
As soon as Natalia picked little Michael up from the orphanage, he told her he wanted to go on a scary adventure. He said, “I’ve always wanted to go and scare a ghost!!” As weird as this sounded, Natalia knew exactly where they were off to, the Old Cemetary! After getting dressed up in their “stealth gear” they headed off on their scary adventure. They scared many ghosts that night. Natalia swears she never laughed so hard in her life and Michael is forever greatful for the fun he had with Natalia. They make a great mischievous team!

Tozzi Crawford
“A KID?!?!? Are you out of your mind?!?!” Tozzi’s reaction to this round’s assignment wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Apparently, Tozzi’s not such a fan of children nor does she ever want any of her own. I told she needed to try and give Cameron a good time. Tozzi was hesitant with him when they first met and Cameron could tell. He took her hand and they went to the playground. Before I could blink, they were joking and laughing, hanging on the swing set… Then Cameron got up and started pushing Tozzi on the swings! When the sun began to set, thry both complained of how thy didnt want the day to end. Tozzi had a brilliant idea. She took him to the lookout by her house, pulled her telescope out of her car’s trunk and…

“Tis The Season”
Each model will be given a specific holiday, you must not reveal your holiday before deadline.
Charlotte Fox
Easter
This week, Charlotte Fox knew she needed to step up her game. She was in the bottom two last week and wanted to show the judges what a versatile model she could be. Charlotte was really glad her chosen season was Easter, as she’s a girly girl. When picking her hair, makeup, and clothes for the shoot, Charlotte wanted to feel like a “human Easter egg” in bright Easter colours such as pink, lavender, and purple. Charlotte had a great time playing and cuddling with the fluffy white bunnies on set and hopes that everyone sees her creative side with this shoot

Charlotte Rose
St. Patrick’s Day
So when we received St. Patricks day. The wheels started turning. Where would be the best place to take these photos. Then it hit us both. We so have to make you a leprechaun!! We kinda laughed at the idea and then got to work. We found this awesome green suit and hat that fit the bill perfectly. We had a hard time at first getting any good shots, because Charlotte felt so silly in the get up, she kept laughing. While we were shooting, I realized we were missing one important thing. A pot O’ Gold. I started to get a little bummed out and then Charlotte had the awesome idea to make a pot O’ Flowers! Genius! Happy St’ Patties Day everyone!

Holly Anderson
Thanksgiving
Holly loves thanksgiving! Its the only time of year where she can stuff her face and get away with it! Holly always has Thanksgiving with her two sisters, since their parents passed away they are the only family each other has. Holly usally does all the cooking and her sisters will bring side dishes! After their family dinner they always pour themselves some wine and have a toast. “To family!” Then later at night when the sun goes down, they go outside and all sit around the pit fire, where they roast marshmellows, and talk about things they are greatful for, and remense about their child hood.

Isla Quinn
Valentines Day
Isla was pretty annoyed at being lumped with Valentine’s Day. “It’s not even a real holiday..” she grumbled. We soon came up with some ideas though, that even she liked. Isla didn’t want to go down the traditional hearts and flowers route, everyone would expect that, and it would look cheap and boring. It wasn’t until she pulled out her much beloved copy of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ that the ideas really came together. She loved dressing up as Miss Bennett, and absolutely adored the Mr. Darcy, but it wan’t enough. She wasn’t going to do just one love story! We tried Romeo and Juliet, and she looked stunning, but it was so difficult to get a good picture of her from the ground. So what else is romantic? Titanic, of course! A firm favourite of hers, she jumped at the chance to play at being Rose, “My hair is the same colour!” she chortled as she got into costume. She hope you like the pictures as much as she enjoyed having them taken- though she seriously doubts that’s possible.

Jolene Rashad
Halloween
When told about her theme for this photo shoot, Jolene immediately suggested shooting at the old 19th century castle downtown which was rumored to be haunted. What better place to throw a Halloween party? The festivities were to be held in the castle basement at the end of a long tunnel. At first, brave Jolene led the way. She felt the temperature of the room drop. She knew it wasn’t just because they were underground that she felt that chilly draft. She slipped to the back to the line so no one would notice her fear. She couldn’t shake the feeling that someone uninvited was following though whenever she looked, no one was there. She trembled her way to the party. She forgot all about their haunting trek once she began working the scene of the party and warming up with that tasty “fireman.” She hopes her fearful journey through the castle undergrounds pay off and looking back at her film, she feels she’s captured the two true spirits of Halloween: tricks and treats.

Kaz Peterman
4th of July
Today’s shoot was very challenging creatively, even though there were no restrictions. When i think of the U.S.A.’s independence day i think BBQ. Kaz and i brainstormed for quite awhile about how we could make this more interesting, so we agreed on attempting to do a 1950’s theme. Kaz certainly enjoyed her black beehive wig and couldn’t help but to be full of smiles in this shoot, but that’s what the 4th of July is all about, friends, family, food and fun!

Natalia Brookfield
New Years
Tonight is the biggest party of the YEAR! its NEW YEARS EVE and all Natalia wants to do is dance the night away. Dance off the stress. Dance off the drama…………. So WHY is her ex-boyfriend trying to kiss her when the clock stikes 12? Oh No!!! 2010….LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!

Tozzi Crawford
Christmas
While my favorite holiday is Christmas, it’s certainly not Tozzi’s. Her family died in a horrible fire when she was young – she was the only survivor. Her Christmas’s are now spent alone. She really didn’t want to participate in this shoot but went along and decided to give you a look at her Christmas ritual. She starts by making a fire, like she used to with her dad, to symbolize the element that has shaped her life into what it is today. She pulls the photos of her family off the mantle and lights one candle for each of her parents. The rest of the room is lined with candles. Tozzi sat for almost an hour reflecting on the loss of her family but not one tear was shed. When all is said and done, she attempts to make what she can of the Christmas season. She bakes some cookies, like she used to with her mom, while listening to her favorite Christmas carols. Then she puts them out for Santa with a mug of milk and falls asleep to the sounds of Christmas. Maybe Santa will come this year?
